This workshop will focus on the fundamentals of your yoga practice. We will work to understand common yoga postures, alignment, technique, and terminology. We will also briefly explore different yoga styles to help you find the one which best suits you to achieve your personal goals. This workshop is perfect for those that are tempted by all of the wonderful benefits yoga has to offer but would prefer to build strength, technique and confidence before joining a regular yoga class. Also, if you have been to yoga before but would like to go back to the basics then you are more than welcome to join.
This workshop will begin by looking at the fundamental principles of the breath. Breathing has the potential to control our feelings, whether it is those that arise on or off the mat. Breathing can help control how we react to events that happen. by a guided relaxation, which will help to encourage better sleep. The tools and techniques learned in this workshop are really useful to take off the mat into your regular lives to allow you to have greater control to calm your state of mind to help you sleep better.

Through candlelight, we will then have guided meditation practice to focus and quiet our mind.
